A talented IT Healthcare professional with over 25 years in the industry who strives to break out from the confines of traditional implementation methodologies. Her innate creativity and ability to problem solve sets her apart from many of her peers. As a decision maker and project manager for several multi-system EHR implementations, Kim enjoys working with healthcare facilities to find the solutions that meet their needs. Her expertise ranges from “the plumbing” of network and wireless infrastructure to point of care device integration and all major application configuration.
Kim finds herself called upon by many former clients as a respected resource on various topics ranging from clinical applications and integration, physician practice implementations and Meaningful Use guidance and preparation of audit documentation. Kim prides herself in having the knowledge and skills necessary to research and present the most viable solutions including improved clinical workflows, leveraging client resources while providing issue resolution for all aspects of a project.
Adaptability, creativity, problem solving skills and willingness to listen to customers to guide them to the solution that works best for their organization are Kim’s strong characteristics. As a project / program manager Kim works directly with organization project teams to ensure projects stay on task and within budget. She works diligently to ensure project governance and methodology is implemented and followed throughout the project. This includes planning, change control and risk management. Kim provides guidance to any resources assigned to the project and will ensure the project meets long term goals and strategic operational needs.
